"Pershing High school were we eliminate the barriers to learning encourage students to be mastery driven."
Pershing High School opened its doors on September 3, 1930 and was named after General John J. Pershing who was a Senior United States Army officer. General Pershings soilders were name "Doughboys" which is where the schools mascot name came from. Pershing partnered with the JDilla Music Foundation and our recording studio was was created in our music room. The students at Pershing have cut 2 CD's with a multude of complulations from our students over the past two year. Two JDilla Murals were funded by the foundation and painted by a local artist.
There is a new Media Arts/Recording Production in the works for the 2019-2020 school year
