Who We Are
313Reads is a community-driven initiative dedicated to empowering children in Detroit by promoting literacy and career awareness. Volunteer electricians from IBEW Local 58 engage with third graders in Detroit Public Schools Community District through motivational reading sessions. This program not only enhances children's reading skills but also provides them with relatable role models who inspire them to envision diverse career paths.
