The Detroit River Conservancy is hosting a celebration for their newest greenway space, the Mayor Dennis Archer Greenway (formerly known as the Joseph Campau Greenway). The event will be held as a back to school/block party themed strolling celebration event on August 19th from 4-7PM and will be inviting the communities and businesses along the greenway to travel along the way to celebrate the opening. Activities and food will be held at the Robert Bradby/Archer Greenway, Lafayette/Archer Greenway, Larned/Archer Greenway, Free popcorn at the corner of Joseph Campau and Franklin and then activations at Valade Park.
